To help you better understand and budget for your rubbish removal job, we have created an upfront, transparent pricing structure. We want to make your experience with us as simple and straightforward as possible, with no hidden costs or surprises when we arrive at your property!

Light Construction
$167* per cubic metre
*Minimum charge of 2 cubic metres applies.
**If the access is difficult, we may charge for the extra labour.
For Heavy Construction, we charge $54 per 100kg of waste for rubble, soil, bricks, concrete, tiles and sand. The minimum charge is 1 tonne.
^Light Construction includes building materials such as plaster, timber, broken-down furniture, carpet, and anything else that is not included in Heavy Construction. The density allowance is 170kg/m3, weight above is charged at $100/100kg.
What is a Cubic Metre?
A cubic metre is 1 metre wide (3.3ft), 1 metre deep (3.3ft) and 1 metre tall (3.3ft), illustrated
below. This is approximately the volume of a standard sized fridge.

If you’re looking to safely dispose of household waste such as paints, chemicals, oils, gas bottles, tyres, fire extinguishers or batteries, we recommend taking them to your local council’s Community Recycling Centre.
If these items are part of a larger rubbish removal job, we can help organise their safe
disposal. Please note: We do not deal with asbestos

What Are Goodbye Junk’s Minimum Charges?
Minimum charges do apply for jobs with 2 cubic metre or less of rubbish, which we can happily explain when you book with us. Goodbye Junk’s minimum cost helps us cover all travel, labour, fuel, recycling and booking with your job.
There are also very rare instances where an extra cost may be incurred for difficult loading or property access. This typically involves:
- Apartment buildings without lifts
- Carrying items 25 metres or more
- Steep driveways or properties on elevated land
- Parking a long distance from the property
